Job Details:

ABAP Technical development in functional areas of SAP SD, MM, QM, PP, APO
ABAP development in SAP Scripts/SMARTFORMS,BAPI, BADI, User Exit, SProxy, IDocs, OO ABAP, ALV Reports, Enhancements workbench
Owner for application development technical processes. Establish documented standards/work instructions for application design and code development. Leverage global standard operating procedures (SOPs) as appropriate.
Drives improvements in the common processes as needed.
Provide expertise with SAP integration technologies and enforce interface standards.
Collaborate with functional leads on design of functional specifications - challenge specs if better solution exists.
Make recommendations to SAP design/development teams to achieve best practices and high performance.
Review and approve technical specifications to ensure adherence to development and document standards.
Provide initial estimates of effort for design and development. Provide\Validate detailed estimates.
Develop and validate project plans for application design and development work. Review and adjust as necessary to ensure timelines are met.
Participate in complex code reviews and provide feedback. Ensure standards are followed. Document action items and ensure follow through.
Provide final approval of code.
Experienced and well researched on current technologies that support SAP (ECC 6) and PI (v7.1).
Experience working with offshore team members for development and support project
Experience working in a regulated environment (SOX, FDA, etc.) subject to compliance controls
Excellent presentation, interpersonal, written and team collaboration skills
Relationship building skills with counterparts at client partners
